D1-BP Fuel Crops appoints its Asia Pacific MD Jim van Drunen Littel as MD for India

New Delhi: D1-BP Fuel Crops has announced the appointment of Jim van Drunen Littel as managing director India, replacing Samiran Das who has left the company.
van Drunen Littel will take up charge in addition to his existing role of managing director, Asia Pacific, which he has held since joining the bio fuels cultivation know-how provider in 2008.
Prior to this role, van Drunen Littel's previous positions included South east Asia regional director and A / P business development and strategy director with Imperial Tobacco Plc; managing director, Indonesia, for Inchcape Plc; managing director JA Russell and BOH Plantations and marketing director, Procter & Gamble Indonesia.
D1-BP Fuel Crops is focusing on Jatropha curcas cultivation in Asia Pacific, Africa, and India. The company has a presence in Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Nagaland through its domestic JV partners –Williamson Magor, the world's largest quality tea producer, in the north east, and Mohan Breweries, a major liquor company, in the South.
