Yash Khanna quits Star TV

Yash Khanna, executive vice president, corporate communication, Star India has quit after a 17-year stint.

Khanna is understood to be exploring the entrepreneurial.

Prior to joining Star, Khanna was with the Ananda Bazaar Patrika Group for almost 17 years in the sales function of the organisation. At Star, his initial stint was in the sales division, from where he took on the corporate communications portfolio. Khanna was also a member of the executive committee at Star India.

Khanna joined Star when it was run by the original owner, Richard Li of Hutchison Whampoa.
