H P Singhania to take over as FICCI president

Harsh Pati Singhania, managing director of JK Paper, will assume captaincy of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) after the current president Rajeev Chandrashekhar retires at the annual general meeting of the apex industry chamber, on 12 February.
Singhania, currently senior vice president of the chamber, is also a member of the Organising Committee for Commonwealth Games 2010.
He had served as the vice president of PHDCCI and chairman of various committees in FICCI.
The theme of the 81st annual general meeting of FICCI is 'Security, Governance and Global Economic Crisis'.
The current president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, MP, is currently on the newly reconstituted board of Satyam Computer Services.
