HTC Announces the Launch of the HTC P3350 in India

HTC today announced the launch of P3350 PDA phone. The HTC P3350 provides the consumers with business as well as leisure both into a compact, slim body.

HTC P3350The HTC P3350 supports not only supports playing of music but it also allows the user to download music as well as videos from the net using WLAN. The phone possess an audio manager as well as an audio booster with a  10-band equalizer range enabling high quality sound output.

The HTC P3350 comes with 128MB of flash memory that is apt for storing songs or videos. The other features of the phone are the high-speed WLAN 802.11b/g, quadband, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth v2.0 that provide ultimate connectivity while on the move.

 The PDA runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 platform providing the ideal balance between for both, the music lovers as well as for the PDA feature lovers. Apart from being a combination of being a music phone and a PDA, it also has a 2.0 megapixel CMOS camera and a 2.8 inch QVGA display screen.

Ajay Sharma, country manager, HTC India, announced the availability of the handset and said,  ''The launch of the HTC P3350 is in line with our efforts of offering a device that combines and supports data capabilities along with a platform to provide and support music and entertainment experience for users while on the move. We are positive that this device will be a big hit among music enthusiasts.''

The PDA comes with a 64MB RAM memory enabling the phone to operate at a decent speed. This PDA phone is equipped with Microsoft Office programmes like Outlook Mobile, Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile, IE Mobile, DirectPush and Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. In addition, users can also have access to Adobe Reader (PDF), Activesync, Comm Manager, Internet sharing, Network Wizard, Audio Manager and Audio Booster or communicate with their peers through Pocket MSN. The device also includes Sprite Backup and GPRS Monitor.

The looks of P3350 come with a brand new form factor, its 360-degree scroll wheel and the 8-way touch pointer. These are supported by the control keys making it highly easier to access certain functions. The phone comes in a graphite silver colour and is expected to be priced at Rs.18,490.
