Bulls ride high taking charge over bears and helped the market to cross another milestone of 17000 in just 6 days, which is the fastest rise in the Indian stock markets, on the back of strong FII inflows. FIIs have pumped in Rs14,639 crore ($3.7 billion) in last five days (cash + F&O segments) after the US Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 50 bps to 4.75 per cent.

The star contributors of this rally were two the Reliance groups, which led this rally from 16000 to 17000 just as they had from 15000 to 16000 as well.

Reliance Industries and Reliance Energy, the biggest gainers, gained nearly 17 per cent and 19 per cent respectively. Reliance Communications rose 12 per cent. Bharti Airtel was the third highest in the contribution list, surged 16.64 per cent.
