In the Dividend Plan, subject to availability of disbursable surplus, dividend will be paid on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis depending on the period chosen by the investors. Investors in the Growth Plan can opt for the Growth option in which the returns accumulate thereby benefiting from the compounding effect, or can opt for the SWP in the industry.

The SWP has two interesting sub options:
1. Fixed Amount Withdrawal — under which the investor may specify the amount s/he wishes to withdraw each month/quarter; this amount could come from either the returns or the principal invested, and
2. Capital Appreciation Withdrawal — under which the investor can book profits and withdraw the surplus generated by the scheme in monthly/quarterly or annually as chosen. The amounts paid for redemption, dividend, fixed amount withdrawal or capital appreciation withdrawal will be paid by at par cheques (in over 150 cities) or direct credit wherever available.

Says JM Mutual Fund CEO Krishnamurthy Vijayan: "We have adopted a growth strategy focused on retail investors. The JM MIP Fund will be essentially targeted at retail investors in metro and non-metro areas. In fact, we propose to intensively market it by tapping investors in even smaller places across the country. Our semi-proprietary distribution and service infrastructure that has been built up over the last 18 months will, we hope, help us achieve the desired results."

Headquartered in Mumbai, JM Mutual has branches in Ahmedabad, Surat, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hubli, Bangalore, Mangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Patna. In addition to its branches it has one of the widest distribution networks in the country with representatives in over 60 cities in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and West Bengal.

JM Capital Management Pvt Ltd has the following schemes under its product portfolio: Equity Fund, Balanced Fund, Income Fund, High Liquidity Fund, Short Term Fund, Floater Fund, G Sec Fund and Basic Fund. The main objective of JM Mutual Fund is to formulate and devise various collective schemes of savings and investments for the general public and to provide them with reasonable income/returns and ensure liquidity of investments for the unit-holders.
