Mumbai: Low-cost carrier SpiceJet has announced the launch of Spicejet Hotels, a dedicated online web-based hotel reservation services to its customers. Business or leisure airline travelers can visit the website, www.hotels.spicejet.com, to search, select and book hotel reservations online after or before making their flight hotel reservations.

High value for money offers from quality hotel properties makes this a simple and convenient single window service, across all SpiceJet Airlines' 13 destinations — Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, Jammu, Katra, Varanasi and Srinagar. SpiceJet Hotels' relationship with Yatra online travel Services enables it to acquire special rates and packages for accommodations around the country.

The service provides access to various categories of hotels from 2-star to 5-star and unspecified budget hotels. All the rates quoted by SpiceJet hotels are on a per room basis (not per person) per night and inclusive of all taxes. The site displays the final hotel price to eliminate surprise charges before asking for the user's credit card details and the price on the search result page is the final price the customer pays.

Acording to Siddhanta Sharma, chairman, SpiceJet, "SpiceJet's emphasis on technology and communication has enabled it along with its other collaborators to provide instant confirmation with reservation details along with a unique confirmation code.

Spicejet hotels provides comfort of reservation, 24 hours a day, keeping in mind the comfort of passengers' computer availability and provides instant confirmation with the details of passenger's reservation and confirmation number."

SpiceJet is a new low-cost carrier offering "everyday spicy fares" and operates B737-800 new generation aircraft with an all-economy configuration of 189 seats.
