National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has sought cost data from the pharmaceutical manufacturing units and formulators to revise and fix the norms for conversion cost (CC), packing charges (PC), process loss (PL) and packing material (PM) for 2008 as per the provisions of Drug Price Control Order (DPCO) 1995.

Detailed questionnaire have already been despatched to pharmaceutical units and industry associations, while soft copies are available on the official NPPA website. www.nppaindia.nic.in

These norms for CC, PC, PL and PM will have to be based on actual cost data / information received from various manufacturers and formulators.

The information is required to be furnished to the NPPA in a soft copy on a CD along with a signed hard copy besides the last two years annual reports (2005-06 and 2006-07) of each companion or before 31 January, 2008.
