P&M Group to launch Maurya TV

P&M Group, promoted by filmmaker Prakash Jha (director; Apaharan) and Adlabs' Manmohan Shetty, is all set to launch Maurya TV in Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar in the next two months.
The group also plans to launch Digital Cinema Multiplex chain, malls and family entertainment centres.
CineMaya Media Group's senior VP Rajiv Mishra has been appointed as CEO, P&M Group.
Maurya TV will concentrate on infotainment and also news and current affairs and rely on a 360-degree campaign to support the launch of Maurya TV.
At CineMaya, Mishra was instrumental in launching Times Now, the news channel of The Times Group in the US.
He was earlier with Hindustan Times from where he moved to Star TV, followed by Reliance Infocomm as general manager, and BAG Films as COO. He was the founder president of Association of Radio Operators of India (AROI).
