Hightemp to manufacture Pyromaitre furnaces

Chennai: The Bangalore-based Rs40 crore-turnover furnace manufacturer, HighTemp Furnaces Limited, has entered into a technical tie up with Canada's Pyromaitre Inc to produce new generation furnaces.

According to B K Venkatesh, director, the tie up will enable HighTemp Furnaces to manufacture high speed metal stress relieving and tempering furnaces.

"That is made possible by our unique recipe / solution while tempering or stress relieving metals. Further, the furnace is very compact and saves precious factory space. The furnace would pay back the cost in three years," added Mario Grenier, president Pyromaitre.

The main features of the new product are precise control of temperature; sufficient reserve power for quick recovery at start up of a load; precise time control and; uniformity in heat transfer.
