Cross cultural e-learning portal from Global Adjustments

Chennai: The Chennai-based cross cultural education provider Global Adjustments Pvt Ltd, and owner of the website India destination services has launched the country's first online educational portal www.globalindian.com.

The union minister for communications and information technology launched the portal. Als0 present at the event was David T Hopper, US consul general and Lakshmi Narayanan, vice chairman, Cognizant Technology Solutins Pvt Ltd in Chennai on 17 March, 2007.

Sensing the need for comprehensive cross-cultural competency solutions Global Adjustments has developed a comprehensive suite of cultural competency products and services aimed at the global Indian.

The e-learning portal www.globalindian.com is designed in such a way that it offers the learner ample space and time using innovative multimedia technology. According to Ranjini Manian, CEO, Global Adjustments, "Social behaviour can make or break businesses interactions. What is socially acceptable in one country may not be so in another. There is more to business than commerce. A truly global Indian should be an amalgam of business skills as well as behavioural skills."
