Leela group plans airport in Kerala

Leela Ventures is planning to set up a private airport at Kannur in North Kerala, making it the first 100-per cent privately owned airport venture in the country.
While it has acquired 300 acres of land, it will require another 1,000 acres in the first quarter of the new financial year. The airport project is expected to boost tourism in the state.
