Delhi's Hanung Toys & Textiles bags US export order worth $100 million

India's largest manufacturer and exporter of soft toys & children's room furnishings, the Delhi-based Hanung Toys & Textiles, today said that it has bagged a $100- million export order from a company in the US for value-added home furnishing.

Hanung, which has WalMart of the US, IKEA of Sweden, Debenhams of UK and Francodim of France among others as its clients, said that the company would be working on margins of over 30 per cent on the export order.

Hanung, which has an annual turnover of $45 million and a workforce of 157, said that the export order is to be completed by December 2012, said Hanung.

Ashok Kumar Bansal, CMD of Hanung told CNBCTV18 today that that the company's order book stands at $328 million.

News of the order sent the company's stock soaring to a high of Rs131 from the opening price of Rs125 and ended with a gain of 2.2 per cent at Rs127.
