Arvind Kejriwal, the India Against Corruption activist who parted ways with social crusader Anna Hazare to launch his own political party, has alleged that Robert Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi, has accumulated disproportionate assets comprising landed property across states.

According to Kejriwal, the real estate firm provided unsecured loans to Vadra helping him to buy property worth Rs300 crore between 2007 and 2020, allegedly from DLF itself.

''The ostensible seed money for this acquisition is shown to have come from unsecured interest free loans from DLF Ltd (over Rs65 crore). The bulk of the properties are also purchased from DLF at a price is shown far below the market price,'' First Post quoted from a document released by Kejriwal.

"Six firms were registered so that land in all worth Rs300 crore was transferred in Vadra's name. What's surprising is that DLF itself provided the loan to buy the slew of properties, most of them being in Congress-ruled states," Kejriwal said.

He also demanded a complete probe into the manner in which Vadra bought property worth Rs300 crore from DLF.

He also questioned the manner in which DLF was allowed to buy vast swathes of land in Haryana and other Congress-ruled states.
