Discovery Networks has introduced two new channels Discovery Turbo and Discovery Science, adding to its network of Discovery Channel, Discovery Travel & Living and Animal Planet.

Discovery Networks said that the new channels would be avilable only on  Tata Sky's DTH platform.

While the earlier three channels have Indian content, the two new channels would rely on global content.

''India is globally recognised as one of the world's most exciting television markets and is a priority market for Discovery,"  said Tom Keaveny, executiive vice president and managing director, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific.

"The launch of Discovery Science and Discovery Turbo reflects our enduring commitment to provide Indian viewers, affiliates and advertisers with a variety of credible, entertaining and high-quality networks.''
