Worldhotels adds Bangalore-based Hotel Matthan to its portfolio

Worldhotels has expanded its presence in India with the incorporation of Bangalore-based five-star hotel Matthan to its portfolio of premier hotels in the country.

Matthan is the hospitality venture of Sterling's Mac Group, which operates over 250 fast-food restaurants across India and west Asia. Located on HAL airport road, Matthan features 145 luxury and deluxe rooms and four banquet halls accommodating up to 600 guests.

''We are delighted to affiliate with Worldhotels in marketing this new hospitality concept in India's IT hub,'' said Arya Srini Rao, general manager, Matthan Hotel.

Worldhotels affiliates in India include The Claridges in New Delhi and Surajkund, Asiana Hotel in Chennai, Hotel Sahara Star at Mumbai's domestic airport, and The Pride Park Premier, a four-star business hotel in Delhi's business park district of Gurgaon.

Worldhotels has 450 affiliate properties in 250 destinations and 65 countries worldwide.
