Emtelle Holdings, Parixit Industries in JV for micro irrigation systems

Emtelle Holdings BV, a Neatherlands-based group, today announced its strategic alliance with Parixit Industries to manufacture and market a range of micro irrigation systems, polyethylene (PE) pressure pipes, and ducted network solutions in India.

"We are extremely delighted to have Parixit Industries as our partner. This is a landmark deal, which establishes the entry of Emtelle in India, and expands our product portfolio into drip and micro irrigation systems," Sanjeev Kumar, group chief executive of Emtelle, said.

"The partnership between Emtelle Group and Parixit Industries reflects our commitment to deliver high standards in manufacturing quality irrigation systems as well as extensive product range in telecom, infrastructure and power," added Parixit Patel, managing director, Parixit Industries.

"Emtelle's portfolio has a significant role to play in our next phase of growth- to widen the product and geographical portfolio base in India and to become a truly global company," he added.

The board of directors of the joint venture company will have representation from the two partners and will include Amrutbhai I Patel and Parixit Patel from Parixit Industries and Sanjeev Kumar and Srinivasan Sethuraman from the Emtelle group.

Amrutbhai Patel will be the chairman of the board.
