Home loan to be UCO Banks thrust area

Kolkata: UCO Bank has identified home loan as its thrust area. The bank's housing loan provided under the UCO Shelter Scheme, attracts 10.25 per cent interest, which is the lowest in the industry, said a UCO Bank press release issued here.
The bank has also redesigned its various loan schemes under the mid-market segment, covering consumer loans, personal loans and car loans, to make them customer-friendly. Apart from revising downward the interest rates as applicable under these schemes by 0.5 per cent to 1.5 per cent the quantum of loans to be offered, too, has been enhanced.
