Kameswara Rao appointed ED, IDBI

Mumbai: The board of directors of the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has elevated Dr K Kameswara Rao, till now the chief general manager, to the position of executive director. The board cleared the appointment at its meeting on 22 February.

Rao is currently in charge of economic research, budget and planning at the development financial institution. He has now been designated economic advisor of IDBI. His new portfolio will be allocated next week, the officials said.
