IDBI Bank commissions CPU

Mumbai: IDBI Bank has commissioned a centralised processing unit (CPU) in Andheri, Mumbai, where all operations of its nationwide network of branches will be managed.

The bank has centralised operations with a view to enabling rapid deployment, streamlining of operations and optimising operational costs, a press release said.

The setting up of CPU will result in significant cost savings on all operational-centric work. The speedy processing of huge volumes of transactions will empower our sales team to meet customer expectations, IDBI Bank country head (retail banking) Ajay Bhimbet said.
