Spices Board to participate in International Food Fair, Sharjah

Kochi: The Spices Board has decided to participate in the five-day International Food Fair (IFF) beginning at Sharjah, UAE, from 23 February 2004.

Its participation will be through the Indian Pavilion to be set up by the India Trade Promotion Organisation, and the board's deputy director (marketing), M R Usha, will be deputed to organise participation.

The board has also decided to participate in the Organic Food Exhibition, Biofach-2004, to be held at Nuremberg, Germany, in February 2004 and the International Food and Beverages Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, during March 2004, say official sources.
