Pakistan militants carried out 2008 Mumbai terror attacks: Nawaz Sharif

This in complete variance with Pakistan's stand that it was unanware of any terror groups from the country being involved in the attacks.
In an interview with prominent Pakistani newspaper, Dawn, Sharif asked why Pakistan was unable to complete the trial in the case even after nine years. “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me. Why can’t we complete the trial?” he said.
Ten heavily-armed Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists entered Mumbai on a stolen fishing boat on 26 November 2008 and carried out coordinated shooting at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Hotel, and Leopold Cafe, till 29 November. 166 people including foreigners were killed and over 300 injured.
One of the terrorist Ajmal Kasab was captured alive and after a three year trial, with appeals reaching the Cupreme Court, was hanged in 2012 (See: Pak terrorist Ajmal Kasab hanged at Yerwada Jail).
India has repeatedly accused Pakistan of having supported the terrorists and given proof that the handlers of these terrorists were based in Pakistan.
