ZEEL launches round-the-clock cricket channel

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) owned Taj Television India launched Ten Cricket, a 24 / 7 channel channel dedicated to cricket.
Ten Cricket has lined up eight test matches, 25 one-day internationals (ODIs) and five T20 matches for Indian audiences. The India-South Africa series comprising of three test matches, five ODIs one T20 match will be telecast on the channel.
Atul Pande, CEO, sports business, ZEEL, said that Ten Cricket will showcase feature programmes on cricket, including magazine shows and archival programming, apart from live matches.
It has also bagged the broadcast rights of five cricket boards: Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies and Zimbabwe, added Pande.
The other sports channels under ZEEL's include Zee Sports and Ten Sports while Star Cricket and Neo Cricket are the other cricket-centric channels.
