Wipro Lighting introduces new products at Light Show

Mumbai: Wipro Lighting, the consumer products business of Wipro Limited showcased its energy saving lighting products at the “Light Show” in Mumbai on Wednesday. Wipro Lightings Light Show is the premier event in the lighting industry, attended by architects, consultants and customers.

A company press release said the Wipro Lighting EMS products showcased today were: 1. Smart — electronic ballast that can help one save up to 35 per cent on the lighting energy bill. 2. Sigma — Digital ballast which not just saves up to 35 per cent but increases lamp life by up to 3 times. It can also light up lamps with broken filament. 3. Lightspot — Presence detection system with daylight sensing 4. Managed Lighting System (MLS) for corporate offices 5. Scene Select System for conference rooms, board rooms, auditoria etc

Today’s lighting solutions are estimated to consume up to 50 per cent of office energy cost. Wipro Lighting’s EMS products can save up to 70 per cent of the lighting energy costs.

For the retail market, Wipro Lighting launched an international range of products from Concord, UK.
