Videocon Telecom offers 38 per cent salary increments

Videocon Telecom, the telecom arm of business conglomerate Videocon Group, has announced salary increments of up to 38 per cent for its employees in the current financial year.

The average fixed raise being 11 per cent and rest coming in form of bonus which will be in addition to the performance-linked incentive.

Videocon Telecom employees can earn up to 12 month basic and minimum 3 month basic salary as bonus.

The company has  1,300 employees across its four operational circles and corporate office. It is also hiring for its growing business operations including rollout of 2G services in three circles (Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West) and Bihar & Jharkhand), apart from rolling out 4G services.

The telco also plans to go to top business schools and engineering colleges including IIMs,  and IITs amongst others this year for campus placements.

''We are hiring and hiring quite aggressively and strategically. We have lots in hand including rollout of 2G services in three circles including UP (E), UP (W) and Bihar & Jharkhand and 4G services rollout, and we need the best professionals to meet these organizational goals,'' said Arvind Bali, director and CEO, Videocon Telecom.

It had also got a 'High Performance Range' in an Aon - Hewitt Best Employer Survey 2014 from among employees, in which it had participated for the first time.
