Tata BP Solar India Ltd is now Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd

Tata BP Solar India Limited today formally announced its change of name to Tata Power Solar Systems Limited (Tata Power Solar).
As part of a previously announced restructuring, Tata Power Solar is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power – the largest integrated power company in India.
Tata Power Solar also announced the appointment of Ajay Goel as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Goel, an alumnus of IIT-Delhi with an MBA from the University of Chicago, has been focused on leading the solar industry in North America over the last five years.
Adi Engineer, chairman, Tata Power Solar, expressed confidence that the company would continue on the growth trajectory with the same passion and zeal that it has displayed since its inception.
