Four directors on Tata Fin board

Mumbai: Tata Finance has appointed four directors on its board. The newly-appointed directors are IL&FS managing director Ravi Parthasarathy, lawyer Dinesh Vyas, former General Insurance Corporation chief U Mahesh Rao and Tata Sons vice-chairman N A Soonawala.

The development also witnessed company chairman Fredie Mehta and CEO Subodh Shah resigning from the board.

The company, after its board meeting on 19 November, has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the appointments.

Tata Finance, in the meantime, is still waiting for a reply from Tata Sons director J K Talaulicar about the Y M Kale Committee report on the alleged insider trading in Tata Finance shares.
