Tata Sierra, the earliest of Tata Motors’ sports utility vehicles (SUV), has been reintroduced as an EV Concept at Auto Expo 2020.

Tata Sierra EV concept, which boasts of a fully electric powertrain, was the main attraction at the opening press day of the biennial motoring show, although Tata Motors has unveiled the HBX concept, a slightly toned down version of the H2X design study showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show last year, the 7-seater Gravitas as well as the Nexon EV.
The homegrown SUV Concept, brought back with the legendary nameplate, and a stunning look is expected to take a production model in the near future. Dubbed the Sierra EV concept, Tata Motors has gives it a modern and progressive look.
While the SUV boasts of a fully electrified powertrain, no specifications have been revealed.
Like most other Tata SUV models, the Sierra EV Concept also seems to be influenced by the latest of Land Rover models. The front end features a wide profile with swooping bonnet structure and sleek LED headlamps accentuated by the brawny bumper section.
The model looks sturdy and the electric drivetrain would send power to all the four wheels, effectively making it a capable off-roader, giving it an added attraction.
The Tata Sierra EV concept rides on large wheels specced with off-road tyres and there are a square-shaped wheel arches done up in black.
