Armed with ISO certification, SES eyes server, desktop business

Mumbai: SES Technologies' manufacturing operations in Pondicherry will focus on the server and desktop businesses, with the unit having received the ISO 9001/2000 certification for systems and procedures. The certification was issued by TUV Suddeutschland India.
The resource capabilities at the unit are used to manufacture PCs, servers and notebooks. The quality is maintained and tested through various testing equipment like Burn in chamber and Amidiag Test utility systems. The entire area is covered with anti-static devices.
"The basic motive behind these operations is to supplement the SI's in terms of their requirement to fulfil an order beyond their own manufacturing capabilities. The certification will help us leverage the faith of our channel partners in us," says Ramdas Shenoy, marketing manager, SES Technologies.
