Seagate leads in disc drive sales

New Delhi: Seagate Technology has announced that market research company, ACNielsen, has named it as the number one disc drive company in India. "According to independent market research company ACNielsen''s findings, Seagate leads all suppliers of hard disc drives in India, with more than 60 per cent market share for the personal and enterprise storage market segments in the second calendar quarter of 2004. The nearest competitor could achieve only 26 per cent market share," a Seagate release said.
