Siemens bags Rs87-crore order from McNally Bharat for Rashtriya Ispat Nigam's Vizag Steel plant

Siemens Ltd. has bagged a Rs87-crore order from McNally Bharat Engineers Pvt. Ltd. for supplying electricals for Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd''s new sinter plant at Vizag, India''s second largest, due to be commissioned by August 2009.

The industrial solutions and services (I&S) division of Siemens Ltd. will execute the electricals contract of sinter plant 3 for which the scope of work includes designing, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of complete power distribution system, motors and drives, automation as well as instrumentation on a turnkey basis. This is the second sinter plant order for electricals that Siemens is executing. on a turnkey basis.
