Reliance Communication''s market cap zooms to $20 billion

Mumbai: Anil Ambani group company Reliance Communications saw its market capitalisation rise to Rs89,715.55 crore ($20 billion), as the stock markets continued a bull-run.

The benchmark Sensex continued its upward march on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in early trade, gaining over 74 points at 13, 770.24.

The Reliance Communication scrip gained more than 2 per cent to touch a life-time high of Rs438.80 in morning trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange, taking its market capitsalisation to Rs89, 715.55 crore. Over 25 lakh shares changed hands on the bourses till noon.

Group company Reliance Energy also rose 2.3 per cent to Rs540 on the BSE.
