Reliance Jio trumps Airtel with 3GB daily data plan

Reliance Jio has taken up Bharti Airtel’s challenge with 3GB of 3G/4G data daily offer on all its plans offering 1.5 GB of data, stretching the price war a bit too further.
Jio’s move comes a day after Bharti Airtel, the country’s largest mobile network came out with an offer of 2GB of daily data on a prepaid plan of Rs149 - twice the amount it offered earlier, to boost its subscriber base.
Reliance Jio recently announced `Jio Double Dhamaka’ offer where users will be getting 1.5GB additional data on all plans that offer 1.5GB data or more. Jio is also offering Rs100 discount on plans above Rs300, where Rs50 is given up front when you use MyJio app, and the remaining Rs50 is given as cash back when you use PhonePe to make payment.
Reliance Jio Double Dhamaka offers 3GB data to prepaid customers everyday
The Rs149, Rs349, Rs399 and Rs449 plans offer 1.5GB data, and with the additional 1.5GB data, users will get 3GB data in total. The Rs149 plan comes with 28 days validity and offers 3GB daily data, making it a total of 42GB through the validity period. The Rs349 plan gets upfront Rs50 discount, and you only pay Rs299, where you get 70 days validity, and 3GB daily data.
The Rs399 plan also gets Rs50 discount, and you pay Rs349 where you get 84 days validity and 126GB data in total, with daily limit of 3GB. The Rs449 plan also gets Rs50 upfront discount, and it has a validity of 91 days, with total data of 136GB for the period.
Other plans with daily limit of 2GB, 3GB, 4GB and more also get additional 1.5GB a day, giving a really tough competition to incumbent telcos.
Vodafone has four prepaid plans that offer 3GB daily data or more. The most affordable plan is priced at Rs349, which offers unlimited local and STD calls, 100 daily SMS, free access to Live TV and more, and the plan comes with a validity of 28 days. Customers get 3GB daily high-speed 3G / 4G data with the plan.
The second plan is priced at Rs549 which comes with same benefits as the Rs349 plan and 28 days validity. However, the daily data limit is 3.5GB, which is 500MB more than the Rs349 plan. The third plan is priced at Rs569 and it offers 3GB daily data with validity of 84 days. There is a Rs799 plan that offers 28 days validity and daily data limit of 4.5GB.
Bharti Airtel has two plans that offer daily 3GB 3G / 4G data. Both plans offer unlimited local and national calls, unlimited roaming, and 100 free SMS daily. The first plan is priced at Rs349 and comes with validity of 28 days, whereas the other plan is priced at Rs558, and it comes with 82 days validity, allowing the subscriber to download a total of 246GB data during the validity period.
Idea Cellular too has two plans that offer 3GB daily 3G / 4G data. The first plan is priced at Rs349, and it comes with 28 days validity, 100 daily SMS along with unlimited local and national calls. The other pack is priced at Rs799 and it also comes with 28 days validity and calling benefits like the Rs349 plan. However, in terms of data benefits, you get 3.5GB per day, which is 500MB extra on a daily basis.
