Reliance Industries Limited has denied all allegations made by Aam Admi Party (AAP) against Reliance Industries Ltd and its chairman Mukesh Ambani at a recent meeting.

''Neither Reliance Industries Limited nor Mr Mukesh Ambani have or had any illegitimate accounts anywhere in the world,'' RIL said in a release issued today.

Reliance said since it has business interests in several countries with turnover of thousands of crores of rupees, these international subsidiaries of Reliance Industries Limited deal with several global banks, as part of their normal business.

These accounts are fully compliant with all regulations and are disclosed in their appropriate jurisdictions and in India, the company stated.

The continued tirade of baseless allegations being made by AAP against us appears to be instigated by vested interests, the release noted.

Days before the AAP-led government resigned this month, it had ordered the Anti-Corruption Branch of the Delhi Police to register an FIR against Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and union petroleum minister Veerappa Moily over irregularities in pricing of gas from Krishna-Godavari basin.

Arvind Kejriwal had even alleged that the BJP and Congress had colluded to bring down his government after he registered an FIR against Mukesh Ambani.

The former Delhi chief minister had also written letters to Modi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi asking them to come clean over the issue.
