Punj Lloyd receives tworepeat orders from oil and gas sector worth Rs1,461 crore

Engineering and construction company Punj Lloyd Ltd on Friday announced the receipt of two repeat orders from oil and gas sector worth a total Rs1,461 crore.

Punj Lloyd received an onshore gas pipeline project worth Rs1,292 crore from Thai state-owned oil and gas major PTT Public Company Limited.

The scope of work includes detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of 294 km of 42" onshore gas pipeline from the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal at the Maptaphut Industrial Estate near Rayong to a tie-in station on the existing Wang Noi to Kaeng Khoi (WNKK) Pipeline in Saraburi Province.

Punj Lloyd also received an order from Indian Oil Corporation for undertaking mechanical and piping for fluid catalytic cracker and propylene recovery unit units of its Paradip refinery, worth Rs169 crore.

The scope of work includes mechanical and piping work for fluid catalytic cracker (FCC - INDMAX) unit and the propylene recovery unit (PRU) of IOCL's Paradip refinery in Orissa. The FCC upgrades heavier fractions into lighter, more valuable products and the PRU supplies downstream users with polymer-grade propylene for petrochemical applications.
