Mississauga: PSI Peripheral Solutions Inc (www.printpsi.com) has announced the launch of Autoslip, an automated packing slip preparation machine that will laser-print, fold and insert documents into an adhesive pouch. The end result is a complete packing slip prepared in one simple step, without being touched by a human hand.

Autoslip is equipped to handle multiple page packing slips, processing each order individually. This will enhance the productivity and efficiency of the distribution centre, reduce operating costs and eliminate human error, hence speeding up the material flow.

The time-savings are massive, with a single pouch being generated in as little as two seconds. By automating this lengthy and expensive task, both time and money can be saved. The Autoslip helps shorten cycle times by getting orders out faster, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

Each pouch can hold up to six pages of information, printed with a laser printer delivering high quality results. The pages will then be folded and inserted so that the company name and barcode information is visible through the clear plastic pouch. Autoslip is Intel Microprocessor controlled and equipped with total PLC controls for inline automation.

PSI, the experts in document and order fulfilment solutions, manufactures unique and production-oriented printing solutions. PSI also develops custom products to suit individual customer needs, as well as integrates PSI products into existing customer lines.
