Pragati Software to set up corporate IT training center

Mumbai: Pragati Software Pvt. Ltd a leading player in the corporate IT training sector has chalked out plans for expansion in its infrastructure, faculty, personnel and courseware to position itself aggressively in the Corporate IT Training Space. Currently the company has an existing training facility of about 1500 sq. ft with 80 seats spread over 4 rooms and equipped with the latest systems and gadgets.

Pragati Software plans to invest about Rs. 1 crore in the expansion plan to incorporate Plug and Play classrooms equipped with video data LCD projectors, audio playback facilities; hi-tech IT management development center; case study discussion hall, State-of-the-art CD ROM based library.

In the first phase, the company will augment its facilities to surpass the 100 seat number. In the second phase the company expects to add additional 1500 sq. ft. of space and have a 150 seat training facility that will place Pragati Software's infrastructure amongst the largest Corporate IT training centers in the country. The company plans to venture into the e-learning market with stand-alone products as well as product to augment its existing offerings.

Mr.Pradyumn Sharma, CEO — Pragati Software said "Our endeavour is to provide an infrastructure that will incorporate the state-of-the-art facilities aimed at strengthening the conceptual, technical and human skills of the IT manpower resources and managers who train with us. The objective is to provide a systems driven set up in the age of digital era".

Further, Mr. Sharma added, "Given the emerging challenge of the skilled IT Manpower to support the various functions of the organization, we are upbeat about the market for Corporate IT Training and are gearing ourselves towards meeting this need."
