Power Finance to pay 10 per cent; borrow Rs100,000 crore

Mumbai: Power Finance Corporation will pay an interim dividend of 14.07 per cent and declared a final dividend of 10 per cent for 2006-07, the company informed the BSE.

The AGM also authorised the board of PFC to borrow up to Rs1,00,000 crore or in any foreign currency equivalent to $4,000 million and mortgage and/or charge all or any of the movable and/or immovable properties, both current and future, or the whole or substantia lly the whole of the undertaking or the undertakings of the company for the purpose, PFC added.
