Mumbai: PCS Industries, a part of the PCS group, has bagged a Rs 26-crore order from State Bank of India (SBI) for computerising around 800 branches.

The computerisation of the branches will involve servers, desktop computers and passbook printer installations in large numbers. This will also involve networking of the branches as well as cabling for the IT infrastructure.

Says PCS Industries corporate vice-president (marketing) Yash Bhardwaj: "PCS has built a strong foundation in the banking and financial sector. Over the last quarter, it has focussed on the BFSI sector by providing services to high-end clients, and operates in almost every area of computer activity in this segment."
