Patni is `platinum partner' of Oracle

Oracle has conferred global IT and BPO services provider Patni Computer Systems with the 'Platinum partner' status as a partner of the Oracle network.

"The Oracle PartnerNetwork program acknowledges partners that demonstrate excellence to help joint customers reach their full business potential. We are happy to confer Patni with this distinction in recognition of their efforts towards effectively managing diverse Oracle platforms and applications across global IT business environments," Cherian Varghese, director, alliances and channels, Oracle India, said.

 "We are honoured to receive this distinction from Oracle which we believe demonstrates our commitment to deliver superior and specialised services to our global customers. We have had a long standing relationship with Oracle and will continue to deliver successful implementations through their best-in-class service offerings," Sunil Chitale, EVP and global head, enterprise software, Patni, added.

Patni has been working with Oracle since 2000 and has executed over 200 Oracle projects over a decade using global delivery model for customers across industry verticals.

Oracle's partner programme provides partners with tools to better develop, sell and implement Oracle solutions, including resources, to train and support specialised knowledge of Oracle products and solutions.
