Global Technologies, has announced that it has entered
into a partnership with the US-based Security Certified
to provide certified security courses in India.
is a two-level, vendor neutral security certification
programme that enables individuals to acquire skills and
get certified as a Security Certified Network Professional
(Level 1) or a Security Certified Network Architect (Level
2). Level One certification is focused on the defense
sector, while Level Two certification concentrates on
communication and emerging security technologies like
public key infrastructure (PKI), biometrics and smartcards.
qualify for certification at each of these levels, students
will need to pass at least two proficiency exams that
will test their expertise and knowledge in the security
domain. New Horizons will offer the students enrolling
in its SCP, access to its proprietary integrated learning
approach strategy, which will enable the students to access
the course content via classroom learning (instructor-led),
online live (the New Horizons virtual classroom) or online
anytime (self-paced Web-based training).
