NTPC awards Rs 85-crore contract to Crompton Greaves

Mumbai: Crompton Greaves Ltd has been awarded a transformer contract valued at Rs85 crore (approx. $19.50 million ) by the National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. (NTPC), the sixth largest electrical power producer in the world.

The scope of the contract includes supplying, installing and commissioning of 11 units of 765kv class generator transformers for stage-1 of the Sipat Super Thermal Power Project in Chattisgarh.
