NTPC Initiates its first electric vehicle charging station in Simhadri, Vishakhapatnam

NTPC has launched its first electric vehicle charging station at Simhadri, Vishakhapatnam.
The station can charge three electric vehicles simultaneously and is fully equipped with all amenities like parking bays, lighting, power supply and Wi-Fi access for automated monitoring and CC TV surveillance.
As a part of its corporate ethos, NTPC is committed to promote and accelerate the adoption of Electric Vehicles across the country by providing the much-needed mobility infrastructure to support EV growth. This Charging station for EVs is one step towards promoting and popularizing the concept of e-mobility.
The NTPC-powered charging station has been designed by an in-house NTPC engineering team at Simhadri
