Microsoft's Sanjay Mirchandani joins EMC

Mumbai: Sanjay Mirchandani has joined EMC in the newly created role of senior vice president, emerging markets and international development. Mirchandani, an 11-year veteran of Microsoft with substantial experience in developing global markets, will help information management and storage technologies leader EMC accelerate its overall globalisation efforts.

An old Microsoft hand, Mirchandani held a variety of senior management roles in Asia, serving most recently as the regional vice president and earlier in his career, managing director, Microsoft India. He began his career at Microsoft leading the consulting practice in the Middle East region.
