M&M to introduce a new Tractor

 Mumbai: Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), the market leader for tractors in India for 19 consecutive years, is introducing a special edition tractor - 275 Bhoomiputra Diwali Special Series 2001.

These tractors have been specially designed with an attractive dashboard, two-tone colour and product graphics and stickers signifying the festive occasion. An elegant rollover safety structure (ROSS) for extra safety, and fiber canopy are its optional features. In addition to these, each of these tractors will carry the name and address of the owner on a metal plate fixed on to the tractor. This feature is the first of its kind in the tractor industry.

“The introduction of these tractors is a step towards giving our customers a choice of a tractor that is unique and tastefully done in keeping with the festive season. These will be exclusively sold in the areas of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Acknowledging the faith entrusted in us by over 8 lakh satisfied customers, we are offering this special Diwali tractor at no extra cost,“ says Ashok Sharma, head, product management and marketing services, farm-equipment sector, M&M.

The tractors will be distributed through the area offices in Bhopal, Lucknow, Varanasi and Patna and are on display at all important dealership locations in these areas. Customers can book the tractor at the dealership on or before 14 November 2001. The delivery of these will begin from 15 November 2001.
