Information technology and audio-visual products maker Moser Baer yesterday launched a new range of LCD televisions as part of its plans to sell 20,000 units in the country in next one year.

Moser Baer announced the launch of eight new models ranging between 19 inches and 42 inches, which are priced between Rs14,900 and Rs57,900. The company is importing these products from Europe and China.

"Last year, we entered into the segment and now our products are available at around 450 outlets across the country and with the launch of new range, we are targeting to sell around 20,000 units in next one year," Moser Baer India vice president consumer electronics Rajiv Kenue said.

"Design, specification and software etc are done by the company itself and the production is currently outsourced to third party manufacturers in Europe and China," Kenue said. He added that Moser Baer is launching an aggressive ad-campaign to market its products in the country.
