Microsoft to roll out new browser with Windows 10: reports

Microsoft is planning to roll out a new browser when it debuts Windows 10, CNET reported citing sources. However, the Internet Explorer would not be going completely away.
There had been much talk that Microsoft would make some big changes to Internet Explorer in the Windows 10 time frame. Rather what seems to be happening was that Microsoft was working on a new browser, codenamed Spartan.
According to a Twitter post by Thomas Nigro, a Microsoft Student Partner and lead developer of the modern version of VLC media player, earlier this month, Microsoft was building a brand-new browser.
He is said to have heard talk of this during a December episode of the LiveTile podcast.
Spartan would still be using Microsoft's Chakra JavaScript engine and Microsoft's Trident rendering engine (not WebKit), according to sources.
