Maruti chairman R C Bhargava feted with Japan's 'Order of the Rising Sun'

New Delhi: RC Bhargava, chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has been conferred the `The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star', by Emperor Akihito of Japan.
'The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star' is Japan's second highest honour in the 'The Orders of the Rising Sun decorations.'
The award recognises Bhargava's unparalleled contribution to the promotion of economic and bilateral relations between Japan and India.
Bhargava will be bestowed `The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star' by His Majesty, on 7 November 2011 at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan.
'The Orders of the Rising Sun decorations' are conferred in recognition of individual's (both Japanese and foreign) distinguished accomplishments.
