MTNL launches PC Security Service in association with F-Secure

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of full PC Security Service for its broadband subscribers in Delhi telecom circle. MTNL will offer the service in association with F-Secure Corporation the global leading provider of security as a service through ISPs.
The service is being offered through the MTNL PC Protection Service at a monthly Rs60 rental with a 30-day free-trial offer.
The service provides a high level of security including proactive protection through F-Secure's unique DeepGuard technology.
The technology protects children from inappropriate web content with parental control, Time Lock wherein users define at what time their children can access the internet as also protection from the most common data security threats including phishing, viruses, spy-ware, mal-ware and Trojans.
The protection comes in one easy to use package that is automatically updated.
The service will be integrated into the monthly broadband subscription as an add-on option. The service is now available to MTNL's broadband subscribers in two add-on plans dubbed MTNL Protection and MTNL Protection Plus at Rs60 and Rs99 monthly rentals respectively.
