LTITL receives export promotion council award

L&T Information Technology Ltd (LTITL) has received the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council award for the highest export during 1997-98 in computer software and services in the non-SSI (small-scale industry) category.
This award was given by the Prime Minister of India at a function in New Delhi on May 29, 1999. Achyut S. Godbole, Chief Executive of LTITL received the award. Speaking about the award, Mr Godbole said " This award belongs to the employees of LTITL as it is a result of excellent teamwork and a spirit of taking on new challenges. The secret of maintaining high growth lies in extremely stringent recruitment, training and quality control".
LTITL had received the export promotion council award in 1996-97 for its consistent growth.
